An Electronics Engineer and experienced tutor with more than five years of teaching experience.

I have a strong background in mathematics, logical reasoning and problem solving, supported by my experience as a software developer working with Java and Android applications.

My teaching is built around understanding rather than memorisation. I use a structured and analytical approach to help children understand why a method works, strengthen their mathematical thinking, identify patterns and tackle unfamiliar problems with confidence. I adapt lessons to each child’s ability, pace and learning style, while developing accuracy, speed, exam technique and independent problem-solving skills.

I also understand the 11+ journey from a parent’s perspective. I am a mother of three children, with two currently in primary school and my eldest daughter attending Tiffin Girls’ School. Having experienced the 11+ process within my own family, I understand the importance of preparation, consistency, confidence and the right level of support for both children and parents.

I aim to create a positive and encouraging learning environment where children feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes and challenging themselves. My goal is not simply to prepare students for an exam, but to help them become confident, independent learners with strong foundations in mathematics and reasoning.
